On the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the second quarter of 2018 ten initial public offers (IPO) were recorded, with a total value of EUR 48 million, results from the report “IPO Watch Europe” prepared by the consulting company PwC. In Europe, the total IPO value in the last quarter amounted to EUR 9.3 billion and decreased by EUR 6.9 billion y/y. There were 99 debuts compared to 106 IPOs in the second quarter of 2017.
Of the 10 IPOs that took place in Poland, there were three debuts on the main market of the WSE and seven on the alternative NewConnect market. The biggest public offer in terms of value was the debut of the Ten Square Games computer publisher (PLN 94.0 million). The total value of IPOs carried out on the alternative NewConnect market amounted to PLN 15.2 million.
