13.5 million people visited Kraków in 2018, according to Malopolska Tourist Organization. This is an increase of 600,000 compared to the previous year. During their stay, the guests spent a total of PLN 6.45 billion. The city registered 10.4 million domestic tourists and 3.1 million foreigners this year. The largest number of foreign guests came from Great Britain (15.7 percent), Germany (12.2 percent), Italy (9.8 percent), France (9.6 percent) and Spain (8. 2 percent).
Domestic tourists stay in Kraków for 2-3 nights on average, and foreigners spend 4-7 nights in the city. The visitors named Wawel Castle, Rynek Główny and Kazimierz among the main tourist attractions.
