Twenty Polish companies made it into the FT1000 ranking of the fastest growing European companies, published by the Financial Times. As many as 60 percent of the Polish firms were tech companies, including Benhaur (26th spot), Tooploox (30th), RTB House (46th), CodiLime (49th), Cloud Technologies (60th) and Creotech (242nd).
Last year’s ranking included only six Polish firms.
With 259 companies, Germany dominated the ranking, followed by France (194), the UK (156), Spain (129) and Italy (104).
Companies need to meet the following criteria to be considered: be independent entities, having posted at least €100,000 in revenue for 2013, at least €1.5 million in revenue in 2016, and having HQ registered in Europe.
