2016 budget draft sets gap at PLN 57.18 mln

The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft budget for 2016, which sets the budget gap at PLN 57.18 billion, compared with PLN 46.08 billion expected in 2015, according to unofficial information by Polish daily Puls Biznesu.

According to the newspaper’s sources, the figure is still subject to change.

“All estimates of  the budget gap and borrowing needs are preliminary until September 7,” Matusz Szczurek, the Minister of Finance told Puls Biznesu. He added that the budget deficit won’t exceed three percent GDP.
