Average salary grew by 4% in February

The average monthly salary in February in the enterprise sector, increased by 4 percent y/y to PLN 4,304.9. In month-to-month terms, wages grew by 0.6 percent, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). Compared to February 2016, the average salary increased by PLN 167.4.

HICP inflation at 1.9% in February – Eurostat

The harmonized index of consumer prices for Poland stood at 1.9 percent year-on-year in January, according to data released by the EU’s statistics office Eurostat. In month-on-month terms, prices increased by 0.5 percent.
