Almost one-third of companies in the manufacturing sector (30 percent) plans to hire employees from the East during the next 12 months, according to Personnel Service report.
“In the near future, the employment of workers from Ukraine in the manufacturing industry may grow even faster. As many as 88 percent of employers in this sector claim to have vacancies for which the is a shortage of Poles,” the report stated.
The manufacturing sector has the largest demand for employees from Ukraine. Currently, 38 percent of companies in this sector employ Ukrainians, and 57 percent admit that they have or had such experience. About 45 percent of employers have a positive attitude towards Ukrainian workers, and only 1 percent expressed a definitively negative opinion.
