According to ManpowerGroup’s report “Talent shortage,” about 52 percent of Polish companies have difficulty finding employees. Only two years ago the figure stood at 36 percent.
Companies from southern Poland, which account for 58 percent of employers, have the most problems. Companies located in the east of Poland (44 percent) have the least problems with filling vacancies. Employers from all six analyzed regions unanimously admitted that the lack of available candidates is the main reason for difficulties in filling positions.
“18 percent (of Polish companies) say that this is due to the high financial expectations of potential employees,” the report stated. 12 percent of firms indicate insufficient professional experience of people interested in a position.
