7th Interim Management Conference

 

For the seventh time the Interim Managers Association* (SIM) organizes a conference dedicated to the idea of Interim Management. The event is addressed to top management; more than 150 CEOs, Directors, Members of the Management and Supervisory Boards and owners of Polish companies are expected to attend.

Motto of the Conference: SUCCESSFUL POLISH COMPANIES. PEOPLE AND THE TOOLS BEHIND THEM.

The conference presentations will include:

  • From International Entity to Polish Family Company, an Example of MPS from Koszalin
  • Innovative Idea that Spread Internationally – the Polish Stem Cell Bank
  • Etno Cafe Conquers the Coffee Market
  • Management Buy Out as a Career Option for Interim Managers
  • Success of the Pharmaceutical Giant – Let’s talk about Polfa
  • Business Transformation is Like Repairing an Aircraft In-flight. Interim Managers Know How to Do It
  • Qlik View and Effective Analysis on Example of Implementation of Impel.

In addition, the Conference will include an expert debate on the successes of Polish companies, and a presentation of the results of the 2016 Polish Interim Management market research.

The conference will be held on 1 December in Warsaw.

The main goal of the conference is to promote Interim Management among the Polish businesses, and to show the comprehensive and universal character of the solution, which on one hand, can effectively support management of any company and, on the other, is an attractive alternative career path for mature managers. We would like to show that Interim Management works both in large corporations and in SMEs, which is why the program is largely based on case studies. It is a substantial added value for all participants.

The SIM Conferences are already a tradition. Held since 2009, they are the only events on the Polish market dedicated solely to Interim Management. Its participants are top management personnel – members of Management and Supervisory Boards, managers, business owners. Last year, as part of an ESF project we conducted a series of 10 conferences nationwide to promote Interim Management among Polish companies.

*The Interim Managers Association (SIM) is the first nonprofit organization of Interim Managers on the Polish market. It was founded by Interim Management professionals. The purpose of the Association is public activity to build, promote and propagate the idea of Interim Management.

The Association works to raise awareness of applications of IM in business management among entrepreneurs. It protects the interests of Interim Managers in order to build a sense of professional security – both as a group and as individuals.

SIM partners with a British association of Interim Managers – Institute of Interim Management (IIM) and the interim recruitment company Inwenta.
