Almost half of companies (49.7 percent) have declared that they have problems finding employees, a study by employment agency Work Service has found.
Among the reasons for this situation, employers point mainly to a shortage of candidates, excessive financial expectations and applicants’ insufficient competency.
The Work Service study showed that the most common problems concern lower and mid-level employees – 25.1 percent and 14.9 percent respectively. Some 25 percent of companies claim that they do not experience problems related to a lack of employees.
The study was carried out between July 18-27, 2018 on a sample of 305 employers.
