Poland was ranked 4th in the ranking of the most attractive emerging markets in 2018, according to a report from the Bloomberg agency. Mexico and Turkey took the first two spots.

The Bloomberg report was based on a number of indicators, such as growth, profitability, current account balances and asset valuation, both countries achieve the highest results among 20 developing countries. Asian economies occupy the five lowest positions. Mexico and Turkey have achieved the highest positions because their actual effective exchange rates are more competitive than the average over the last 10 years, according to the analysis. The valuation of India and China is relatively expensive in historical terms. Their economic growth is not likely to be as fast as in the last decade, according to estimates.

The survey covers 20 of the 24 markets that make up the emerging market index MSCI Inc. Greece was excluded for being a member of the euro zone, while Egypt, Qatar, and Pakistan were excluded due to data restrictions.
