British-Polish Investment Alliance Conference 2016


On behalf of the British Embassy Warsaw and Investors’ Club Warsaw School of Economics we would like to invite you to a unique event which is the British-Polish Investment Alliance Conference.

British-Polish Investment Alliance is a student-led, not-for-profit initiative focused on establishing long-term economic and political cooperation between the United Kingdom and Poland as well as strong academic relations between participating parties. The aim of the project is to promote and discuss investment, job and start-up opportunities in both countries. Organisers of BPIA have the ambition to establish a platform for networking within students of top European universities, young professionals, corporate representatives and government officials of both countries.

Agenda of the conference comprises discussion panels with corporate and academic representatives as well as diplomats from government bodies that link the United Kingdom and Poland. Speakers at the conference will include the best managers and business practitioners in Europe. The following guests, among others, have confirmed their attendance: Marcin Petrykowski, Managing Director at Standard and Poor’s on Central and Eastern Europe and Head of EMEA Relationship Management, Michael Kennedy, Executive Director in Goldman Sachs Technology and Warsaw office, Artur Kozieja, Managing Director at Barclays Capital on Central and Eastern Europe, Krzysztof Wiater and Marek Sawicki (respectively Partner and Counsel at DLA Piper), Marek Matraszek, CEO of CEC Government Relations, Karol Lasocki, President of British Alumni Society, Krzysztof Jedziniak, Senior Manager at A.T. Kearney and many other renowned personages.

Project partners include: British Embassy Warsaw, Goldman Sachs, A.T. Kearney, DLA Piper, British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, CEC Government Relations, British Alumni Society.

The conference will be held on the 11th of January at the British Embassy Warsaw. Registration is free of charge, application form can be found on the British-Polish Investment Alliance Conference 2016 event on Facebook. The application deadline is the 7th of January 2016 (6:00 PM).
