Tamborski appointed CEO of WSE

Paweł Tamborski was appointed as CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange by the bourse management board., replacing Adam Maciejewski. The main financial regulator must approve the appointment of Tamborski, who previously served as Vice-minister of Finance with the Tusk government.

Unemployment continues downward trend

The latest data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) shows a decrease in unemployment. The unemployment rate at the end of May was 12.5 percent, compared with 13 percent in April, as presented in a GUS statement. This is the lowest unemployment rate in the last year and a half.
