Polish exports up by 8% in 2013

Poland exported nearly €155 billion worth of goods in 2013, 8 percent more than in 2012, statistics office GUS reported. Polish exports to the EU constituted 76.3 percent of the total volume, 1.3 percentage point less than in 2012.

Ukraine announces embargo on Polish pork

On Monday morning, Ukrainian authorities re-introduced an import ban on Polish pigs, pork meat and products made of it, according to an announcement from the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine. The previous embargo had been called off just over a month ago.
