The majority of Poles, surveyed by pollster CBOS, consider the introducing of regulations, aimed to help people with mortgage loans in CHF, to be unnecessary.

As much as 54 percent of Polish citizens are negative about the idea of government assistance to Poles who have loans in Swiss francs, whereas only 36 percent are positive.

58 percent of those who support a possible regulation, think the provisions must be provided only to people with a difficult financial situation; 40 percent believe assistance must be for all Poles with franc loans.

The poll was conducted as face-to-face interviews (1,104 Poles) along with computer aid CAPI on March 31 – April 7.
