  • Event also to announce Call for Entries for 2015 CEEQA awards

The first ever CEEQA@Mapic event in Cannes on 20th November at the world’s largest global retail real estate fair, Mapic, has attracted a powerful panel of regional and global retail developers, investors and consultants to debate The Future of Fashion Retail in New Europe. The event builds on the success of CEEQA@Mipim in recent years showcasing the opportunities of the New Europe real estate markets to the international investment arena.

The panel, which includes TriGranit CEO Arpad Torok and GTC director of international retail Mariusz Kozlowski, Cushman & Wakefield’s global cross-border retail head Mark Burlton and CBRE’s head of CEE retail, as well as two of the region’s most experienced investors in Otis Spencer of Peakside and Peter Todd of Resolution Property, will examine opportunities and challenges the changing retail environment presents retail real estate owners and managers to integrate successfully with the digital revolution, both globally and within the New Europe markets, and the increasing role fashion retail can play in smoothing the wheels.

CEEQA@Mapic is organised in association the Financial Times and Mapic as the focal point for the CEE and SEE property markets at the largest annual global retail real estate fair. The panel builds on CEEQA’s work during 2014 on the impact of the digital revolution in commercial real estate as well as the unparalleled market impact of its Insight Summit series over the past decade.

The panel will commence at 4pm in the Oxford Room on Level 1 of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, and will be followed by a CEEQA@Mapic cocktail announcing the opening of entries for the 2015 awards including award categories, jury and judging itinerary.

CEEQA is the main annual industry awards and market insight forum for commercial real estate across 18 countries in New Europe, organised by CEE Insight Forum in association with the Financial Times since 2003.
