According to the central bank NBP, the average wealth of a Polish household amounts to PLN 257,000. The value of real estate and assets related to business activity make up the majority of the sum, a report by NBP showed.
To compare the wealth of Poles with other European nations, NBP converted the sum in Euros and said that it stands at 56 percent of the eurozone average. What’s surprising is that Poles’ average wealth is higher than Germans’, this is due to the fact that they tend to rent homes rather than buying property as Poles do. A German household’s average value stands at €51,400 versus Poland’s €61,700.
