Sales of daily newspapers in July decreased by 11.8 percent y/y to 600,989 units. In comparison to June, this is a decrease of 4 percent, the Press Distribution Control Association (ZKDP) stated.
The top-selling newspaper continues to be tabloid “Fakt” with 228,630 copies sold daily on average (9.5 percent y/y and 3.4 percent m/m drop), followed by another tabloid Super Express with 112,093 copies (12.6 percent y/y drop and 5.1 percent m/m increase).
The highest decline year-on-year was recorded for sales of “Gazeta Polska” daily, which stood at 14,770 units in July. This is 20.3 percent less compared to July 2017.
