Lease agreements for a total of 132,100 sqm of office space were signed in Wrocław in the first three quarters of this year, which marks a 70-percent increase y/y, according to the latest report by Cresa Poland. At the end of Q3, the volume of modern office area in the city amounted to 879,600 sqm, having grown by almost 27,500 sqm since the beginning of the year, the study said. In total, some 70,000 sqm of office space is expected to be completed in Wrocław in 2017 with a further 150,000 sqm scheduled for completion next year. The vacancy rate in the Wrocław market stood at 8.5 percent in September. Despite the large supply of new space in Wrocław, the office market in the city is in balance due to the strong tenant demand, commented Bolesław Kołodziejczyk, the head of research and advisory at Cresa Poland.
