Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed Dom Development, the biggest residential developer in Poland, sold 1,650 units in the first half of 2018, which marks an 11% decrease upon the same period last year. The company claims to have achieved satisfactory margins in H1, which is the main goal of its business strategy at the moment. One can see the supply of new apartments in the market slowing down as developers have to cope with the problems in the construction industry and the limited availability of land for new projects, and Dom Development is now not focused on the further growing of volumes, commented management board president Jarosław Szanajca. As of the end of June, the developer was building a record 6,409 units in 50 projects in Warsaw, Wrocław and the Tri-city. In the first half of this year, the sales revenues and net profit of the company increased by 47% and 59%, to PLN 435.5 million and PLN 48 million respectively.
