Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed developer Echo Investment has launched construction work on two residential buildings within its Browary Warszawskie mixed-use complex located in the Wola district of the Polish capital, which will comprise a total of 287 apartments. The company has selected builder Eiffage Polska Budownictwo as the general contractor for this phase of the project with the value of the contract estimated at almost PLN 79 million. The buildings are scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2020.
The flagship scheme of Echo Investment in Warsaw, Browary Warszawskie is being developed on a 4.4-hectare post-industrial site that previously housed a brewery. The investment – which will include 50,000 sqm of office space, as well as retail and residential areas – will involve the revitalization of a number of historic structures and the development of five new residential buildings and three new office buildings. The entire complex was designed by the renowned JEMS Architekci architectural studio.
