The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) for Poland, calculated by the European Commission, increased to 112 points in February, up by 0.3 points m/m.
In industry, the ESI dropped to -2.8 points, compared to -2.1 points last month. In services, it grew to 8.9 points from 8.4 points.
In the construction sector, the indicator was at -6 points compared to -7 in February. The consumer sentiment component of the ESI stood at 1.3 points in February compared to 0.6 points the month before. For retail, the indicator increased to 9.8 points compared with 9.2 points last month.
