The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) for Poland, calculated by the European Commission, fell to 97.7 points in September compared with 98.4 points in August, the EC said on Friday.
In industry, the ESI dropped by 0.5 points month-on-month to -11.8 in September. In services it fell to -1.2, thus by 0.4 points on a monthly basis.
In the construction sector, the indicator stood at -25.8 in September, it inched up by 0.1 points in comparison with August. In retail trade, it was 0.8 points compared to 1.7 a month earlier.
The consumer sentiment component of the ESI stood at -15.6 points in September compared to -14.3 in August.
