Eurostat: labor costs in Poland grow 4.8% in Q3

According to data released by the EU’ statistics office, the nominal hourly labor costs in Poland in Q3 increased by 4.8 percent y/y. The Q2 growth stood at 8.3 percent.

In Q3, The two main components of labor costs, wages and salaries increased by 4.8 percent, while non-wage costs grew by 4.9 percent y/y.

In the industry sector, labor costs went up by 4.8 percent, in construction by 7.8 percent, while in services by 5.1 percent.

Throughout the EU, labor costs went up by 2.1 percent y/y.
