Eurostat: labor costs in Poland grow 6.5% in Q4

According to data released by the EU’ statistics office, the nominal hourly labor costs in Poland in Q4 increased by 6.5 percent y/y. The Q3 growth stood at 4.8 percent.

In Q4, The two main components of labor costs, wages and salaries increased by 6.5 percent, while non-wage costs grew by 6.5 percent y/y as well.

In the industry sector, labor costs went up by 9 percent, in construction by 13.8 percent, while in services by 9 percent.

Throughout the EU, labor costs went up by 2.3 percent y/y.
