Eurostat: Retail sales up by 7.1% in October

The volume of seasonally adjusted retail trade in Poland grew by 7.1 percent year-on-year in October, according to a data release from the EU’s statistics office Eurostat. In month-on-month terms, it increased by 0.6 percent.

Throughout the EU retail trade decreased by 0.5 percent in m/m terms, and grew by 0.9 percent y/y.

According to the Polish Central Statistical Office, retail sales (in current prices) grew by 8 percent y/y in October.
