Eurostat: Retail sales up by 7.9% in July

The volume of seasonally adjusted retail trade in Poland grew by 7.9 percent year-on-year in July, according to a data release from the EU’s statistics office Eurostat. In month-on-month terms, it increased by 1 percent.

Throughout the EU retail trade decreased by 0.2 percent m/m, and grew by 2.7 percent y/y.

According to the Polish Central Statistical Office, retail sales grew by 7.1 percent y/y in July.
