The foreign direct investments (FDI) net inflows last year amounted to PLN 54.9 billion, according to Poland’s Central Bank (NBP). The figure is lower by PLN 2.6 billion compared to 2015. The figure is in line with previous NBP’ estimates.
In the same period, Polish investors made transactions worth PLN 31.8 billion, which was an increase compared to the previous year by PLN 13 billion.
“However, nearly half of this amount were transactions related to the reorganization of investment funds, which resulted in a reduction in portfolio investment and an appropriate increase in direct investment,” NBP said.
