The Ministry of Finance has informed that Poland recorded a budget surplus of PLN 8.6 billion at end-January. During that period, PI revenues increased by 13.7 percent, while CIT revenues were up by 11.4 percent y/y. On the other hand, VAT revenues decreased by PLN 3.6 billion.
By end-January, budget revenues amounted to PLN 35.2 billion, or 9.9 percent of the annual plan. Budget expenditures stood at PLN 26.6 billion, 7.9 percent of the plan.
