According to the Ministry of Finance, in Q3, only one or two tenders will be organized, and the ministry plans to sell PLN 3-10 billion worth of bonds during them. They should take place in September. The government is also planning a similar number of swap bonds auctions.
“Due to the very good liquidity situation of the budget and the current implementation of the financing of borrowing needs, the supply of bonds in Q3 will be very limited and will not exceed PLN 10 billion,” the ministry said.
The ministry will continue to offer five current benchmark bonds (three with fixed rates and two floating rates).
“The level of financing of this year’s gross borrowing needs amounted to about 70 percent at the end of June, at the level of approximately PLN 84 billion,” the ministry added.
