Fitch rating agency has raised the forecast of Poland’s GDP dynamics in 2018 to 5.1 percent from 4.8 percent, and to 3.8 percent from 3.6 percent in 2019, according to results from the latest macroeconomic forecasts of the Fitch agency. In 2020, Fitch expects a slowdown in economic growth in Poland to 3 percent towards the previously forecasted 2.9 percent.
Of the three largest credit rating agencies, Poland’s creditworthiness is best assessed by Moody’s – at the “A2” level. Poland’s rating according to Fitch and S&P is “A-,” one level lower than Moody’s. The perspectives of all assessments are stable.
