Fitch upholds Poland’s A- rating with stable outlook

Fitch Ratings has maintained long-term entity ratings (IDR) for Poland’s debt in foreign and domestic currencies at the A- level. At the same time, it upheld the outlook for ratings at a stable level, the agency said.

“Polish ratings at A- level reflect strong macroeconomic foundations, supported by a stable monetary policy framework and a robust banking system. The limitations for ratings are low GDP per capita compared to the median of comparable countries and high, though declining net foreign debt level,” the report read.
