GDP growth at 3.9% in Q2 – flash estimate

Poland’s gross domestic product grew by 3.9 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2017, according to a flash estimate published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). The quarter-to-quarter growth was at 1.1 percent.

Economists had expected the GDP growth in Q1 to be slightly lower, at 3.8 percent y/y.

GUS will publish full data on Q2 GDP growth on August 31.
