Europa Capital and White Star Real Estate have completed the sale of the Plac Małachowskiego office building in downtown Warsaw to Generali Real Estate. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. Dating back to 1907 and thoroughly refurbished in 2013, the property comprises 14,500 sqm of leasable space and is currently more than 90-percent leased out with tenants including international law firm K&L Gates, global private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, Polish law firm WBK, co-working business space provider Rent24 and German bank Berlin Hyp. The acquisition testifies to Generali Real Estate’s increasing focus on Central and Eastern Europe where the company now manages assets valued at a total of around €770 million.
