Two brands of hospitality company InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open their hotels in The Warsaw HUB mixed-use project, which developer Ghelamco Poland is now developing in the Wola district of Warsaw. A four-star Crowne Plaza hotel (which will be the first hotel of the brand in Poland) and a three-star Holiday Inn Express hotel will offer 212 and 218 rooms and suites respectively, and will occupy a total of more than 21,000 sqm of space in one of the three buildings of the scheme.
Ghelamco Poland has also signed letters of intent regarding the lease of almost 15,500 sqm of office space in The Warsaw HUB with the names of the tenants not having been revealed yet. Additionally, potential occupiers of the commercial units that will be located on the lower floors of the development have booked 1,500 sqm. Altogether, approximately 38,000 sqm of space (or 33 percent of the combined area of 113,000 sqm) has already been leased or booked in the investment.
The Warsaw HUB is being developed in the Rondo Daszyńskiego area of Wola and will consist of three connected high-rise buildings: two 130-meter office towers and an 86-meter building that will house the hotels. The project is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of 2020.
