An anonymous buyer has acquired two luxury apartments covering a combined 470 sqm and located in the Foksal 13/15 project that Ghelamco is currently developing in downtown Warsaw for a total of more than PLN 17 million. This is one of the biggest transactions to have been closed by an individual buyer in the residential property market in Poland in recent months, with a 240-sqm apartment located on one of the top floors of the Złota 44 tower in the center of the Polish capital having gone for an estimated almost PLN 11 million earlier this year. In Foksal 13/15, Ghelamco earlier offloaded four apartments to an individual investor for an aggregate PLN 11.5 million.
The Foksal 13/15 scheme will involve the renovation and redevelopment of two historic tenement houses dating back to the late 19th century. The development will comprise 55 units ranging in size from 47 sqm to 260 sqm and will include an underground parking lot with spaces for 60 vehicles. “Half of the apartments have already been sold or booked,” revealed Jeroen van der Toolen, managing director CEE at Ghelamco. The investment is scheduled to be completed in the second half of next year.
