According to Deputy PM Jarosław Gowin, Poland should build a Central Railway Station along with the Central Airport. “The Central Airport should be serviced by the railway network as the passengers won’t be able to get there using standard road connections,” Gowin argued. He also added that both facilities could be linked with the New Silk Road and create a hub connecting Western Europe with China.
“It’s clear to me, that according to China, the New Silk Road will end in Poland. The question remains, what’s next. Whether China’s partner will become Berlin, for example, or if it could be Poland,” Gowin said, adding that such solution would require linking the railway and airport investments.
