GUS: Foreign trade surplus reaches PLN 8.24 bln at end-Q3

After the third quarter of 2017, the foreign trade surplus reached PLN 8.24 billion compared to PLN 13.5 billion surplus last year, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). At end-Q3, exports amounted to PLN 640.54 billion, while imports totaled PLN 632.62 billion.

Of those exports, PLN 175.47 billion worth of goods and services were sold to Germany, followed by Czechia (PLN 40.83 billion), and the UK (PLN 40.62 billion). Furthermore, Poland imported PLN 145.24 billion worth of products from Germany, PLN 75.45 billion from China and PLN 40.8 billion from Russia, GUS data showed.
