Belgian developer Immobel will launch construction work on its planned Central Point (previously known as CBD One) office project in downtown Warsaw in late Q1 or early Q2 2018. The company has already secured a building permit for the scheme that will be its first high-rise development in Poland.
The 21-story Central Point investment will be located at the intersection of ul. Marszałkowska and ul. Świętokrzyska, and will comprise 19,100 sqm of space with the completion being scheduled for mid-2020. The project was designed by the Warsaw-based Biuro Projektów Kazimierski i Ryba and Paris-based Arquitectonica architectural studios.
Immobel is known in Warsaw for its Cedet mixed-use scheme that involves the modernization and extension of a former department store building and will comprise a total of around 22,000 sqm of office and retail space. The developer last month held a topping-out ceremony at the construction site of the development which will be ready in the first half of next year.
