Industrial orders up by 15.7% in June

New industrial orders, according to the Central Office of Statistics (GUS) grew in June by 15.7 percent y/y and 11.4 percent m/m.

Meanwhile, new industrial purchases for exports increased by 15.8 percent y/y, and contracted 2.4 percent m/m.

The index of new orders is used to assess future production, as it indicates to what degree demand for products and services is developing.
