Jakub Modrzejewski named new president of WSE Council

The Warsaw Stock Exchange Supervisory Board (WSE) has appointed Jakub Modrzejewski as the new President of the Exchange Supervisory Board. Janusz Krawczyk will become vice-president.

Currently, Modrzejewski is the director of the office of the PKN Orlen Capital Group. From July 2017, he was a member of the supervisory board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, and in 2017-2018 he was deputy and then director of the Department of Supervised and Subordinated Units at the Ministry of Development and deputy director of the Treasury Department at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

The WSE operates a regulated market for shares and derivative instruments, as well as an alternative NewConnect stock market for growth companies.
