JLL and the municipal authorities in Warsaw will cooperate on coming up with a development strategy for retail in the downtown of the city, identifying locations with the biggest shopping potential and increasing the attractiveness of the main high streets of the Polish capital. The real estate services firm will conduct three studies that will focus on buyers’ perceptions of downtown retail, the needs of potential tenants and the amount of footfall in one of the neighborhoods in the city center. Once the studies have been prepared, JLL will present Warsaw City Hall with specific policy recommendations. They will concern such issues as the property ownership structure and public space management in downtown Warsaw.
