Jan Kulczyk maintained the first position in the annual ranking of the 100 richest Poles published by weekly Wprost . His assets are valued at PLN 13.1 billion. They include real estate and energy assets, as well as recently acquired chemical firm Ciech.
Zygmunt Solorz-Żak, majority shareholder of Cyfrowy Polsat and Polkomtel, came second in the ranking with PLN 12 billion in assets. Michał Sołowow, shareholder of Barlinek, Synthos and Cersanit, came third with PLN 6.96 billion. Both of them also maintained last year’s ranks.
Other top positions in the ranking went to Leszek Czarnecki (PLN 6.33 billion), Grzegorz Jankilewicz (PLN 4.5 billion), Sławomir Smołokowski (PLN 4.5 billion), German Efromovich (PLN 4.48 billion), Dariusz Miłek (PLN 3 billion), Jerzy Starak (PLN 3 billion) and Antoni Ptak (PLN 2.59 billion).
