Polish center, Marcin Gortat has signed a new 5 year deal with NBA outfit Washington Wizards a team which he played for last season, before his contract expired and he became a free agent.
The deal is reportedly worth $60 million and is guaranteed. Gortat said previously that this will be most likely the last deal of his career as he will be 35 when it expires.
During his first season with Wizards, Polish Hammer averaged 13.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. He was a crucial part of team, which for the first since 2008 made it into the play-offs and since 2005 they advanced beyond the first round.
