‘Memento-Smoleńsk’ monument unveiled in Budapest

A memorial monument “Memento-Smoleńsk” was unveiled in Budapest’s Budafok-Teteny district on Friday, commemorating the April 2010 Smolensk airplane crash, which claimed 96 lives, including that of President Lech Kaczyński. The late president’s brother and head of the ruling Law and Justice party Jarosław Kaczyński called the monument “a beautiful gesture that will solidify Polish-Hungarian friendship.”…
