The Ministry of the Economy has announced its forecasts for 2015.
According to the ministry, industrial output will grow by 3.7 percent in 2015, compared with an increase of 3.3 percent in 2014. The projections foresee an average annual inflation rate at 1.0 percent, versus 0.0 percent at the end of 2014. The ministry has upheld its forecast for GDP growth, it will rise by 3.4 percent.
The trade balance deficit will amount to €600 million, compared with €1.724 billion between January and November 2014. According to the forecasts, exports will amount to €173.30 billion, while imports will total €173.90 billion.
The Ministry of the Economy predicts that the unemployment rate will stand at 10.8 percent at the end of 2015, versus 11.5 percent in December 2014.
