The apartment hotel/condo hotel sector in Poland’s biggest cities grew by 174% over the last two years, according to the latest report by InwestycjewKurortach.pl, an industry website. Until recently, apartment hotels and condo hotels were mostly built in the country’s holiday destinations, but since 2016 the number of companies developing such projects in the biggest Polish agglomerations increased by 15, the study said. According to InwestycjewKurortach.pl’s data, 29 big-city apartment hotel/condo hotel schemes comprising a total of 6,474 units are now under construction or in the pipeline. The sector is growing the fastest in Wrocław, Gdańsk, Warsaw and Łódź with the most active developers including Arche and Marvipol. The former company is also present in medium-sized cities such as Częstochowa, Lublin and Piła.
