Finnish developer YIT has launched construction work on the second phase of its Aroma Park residential project in Warsaw with builder Unibep acting as the general contractor. In this phase of the scheme two buildings with a total of 70 units will be built. They are scheduled to be completed in 16 months. Located in the Białołęka district, the Aroma Park development will be developed in five phases and will comprise a combined 400 apartments. The investment will be sitting on an almost three-hectare site that previously housed a yeast factory dating back to the early 1900s and will, apart from the construction of new residential buildings, also involve the renovation of several historic properties which were part of the former production plant. Aroma Park is the second housing project of YIT in Warsaw. The company entered Poland in 2015 and is now also developing a scheme called Nordic Mokotów in the Mokotów district of the Polish capital.
