NBP: Consumer loans up, while housing loans declined in March

The value of consumer credits increased by 0.5 percent or PLN 789 million in March month-on-month and reached PLN 165.9 billion, the Poland’s Central Bank (NBP) announced.

The value of mortgages declined by 0.7 percent in March m/m to PLN 401.7 billion. The value of such credits denominated in PLN grew by 1 percent m/m, while the value of mortgages denominated in foreign currencies declined by 3.3 percent m/m.

Furthermore, total stock of corporate loans increased by 0.5 percent or PLN 1.35 billion to PLN 301.4 billion.
