NBP: loans up, mortgages unchanged in September

The value of consumer credits grew by 0.3 percent or PLN 0.6 billion in September m/m and reached PLN 186.2 billion, Poland’s Central Bank (NBP) announced.

The value of mortgages remained unchanged at PLN 425.7 billion. The value of such credits denominated in PLN grew by 0.8 percent m/m, while the value of mortgages denominated in foreign currencies decreased by 1.7 percent m/m.

Furthermore, the total stock of corporate loans rose by PLN 3.57 billion to PLN 335.35 billion, a 1.1 percent y/y growth.
