New retail park opens in Świdnica

Investor Trei Real Estate has opened for business its 2,600-sqm Vendo Park retail park in Świdnica. This is the seventh project of this chain to have been completed in Poland and the sixteenth in CEE with the company also managing similar schemes in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Świdnica development has already been fully leased out – its tenants include Kakadu, KiK, and Pepco. The remaining six operating, Vendo Park-branded investments in Poland are located in Nysa, Chełm, Milanówek, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Skierniewice and Łódź. A further nine projects are now under construction. Trei Real Estate, which belongs to Germany’s Tengelmann capital group and also owns more than 100 Biedronka stores in Poland, sees much potential in the retail park market in the country and wants to eventually have approximately 50 Vendo Park-branded developments in its Polish portfolio.
